Full payment at the time of booking confirms your reservation for the tour.

Cancellations within 7 days or more before the booked tour schedule will get 100% refund.

Cancellations between 7 – 2 days before the booked tour schedule will get a 50% refund.

Cancellations within 48 hours or less before the booked tour schedule will get no refund.

There shall be no refunds if the customer does not show up for the booked tour on the scheduled date and time, and B. Dene Adventures Inc. reserves the right to re-book the customer at another time either for a fee or free of charge.

B.Dene Adventures Inc. reserves the right to cancel any scheduled tour/activity due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control which may impact the planned tour/activity.

Definitions

B.Dene Adventures: In this Agreement “B.Dene Adventures” refers to all company directors, employees, contractors, casual staff, suppliers, sponsors, partners, successors, and assigns of B.Dene Adventures Inc.

Experience: In this Agreement, “Experience” includes all activities, events, tours, adventures, or services provided, arranged, organized, conducted, sponsored, or authorized by B.Dene Adventures Inc. It encompasses, but is not limited to orientation sessions, transport, accommodation, events, tour-activities, and other tourism services connected with or related to B.Dene Adventures Inc.’s offerings.

Tour Participants: In this Agreement “Tour Participant” refers to any individual who participates in a tour, activity, or experience provided by B.Dene Adventures Inc.

 

Risk Management

• Tour participants acknowledges that participation in an “Experience” with B.Dene Adventures may involve various risks, dangers, and hazards. All participants must be aware of their behavior and comply with the rules of the tour/activity provided by B.Dene Adventures.
• Dene Adventures staff shall strive to minimize the rate of accidents and injuries. Tour participants agree to accept any risks, including but not limited to: mechanical failure of equipment, gear, or machines; exposure to rapidly changing or extreme weather conditions; loss of balance and difficulty in controlling speed and direction; variations in terrain steepness and rapid or uncontrolled acceleration; encounters with domestic or wildlife animals, including bears, cougars, and foxes; collisions with pedestrians, motor vehicles, cyclists, and other road users during transportation; and interference or injury caused by the negligence or improper behavior of other participants.
• Engaging in activities beyond one’s physical and mental capabilities, resulting in injury or property damage (e.g., children under four, seniors over sixty, pregnant women, intoxicated persons, anyone under the influence of drugs or medication, those unable to care for themselves, and those with a history of epilepsy, cardiovascular disease, asthma, or polio are not suitable for outdoor activities. Guests must decide whether to participate and take full responsibility for their decisions.)
• Adult tour participants should bear the risks themselves. Minor tour participants must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who assumes their risk on their behalf.
• Dene Adventures staff have the right to stop improper behavior of tour participants, such as chasing within the venue, weaving through other participants, behaving unruly or rudely, throwing objects, carrying inappropriate items within the venue, etc.
• Causing unnecessary disturbances, offensive behavior towards other participants or B.Dene Adventures staff, such as verbal abuse, foul language, fighting, or violating the laws of the Northwest Territories of Canada, will result in B.Dene Adventures refusing the tour participant from continuing the tour/activity without a refund.
• If tour participants do not follow the instructions and advice of B.Dene Adventures staff during the activity, B.Dene Adventures has the right to suspend the tour activities of misbehaving participants and will not be responsible for any injuries caused by the improper behavior of tour participants, either to themselves or to other participants. The person/s who caused the injuries must bear the responsibility.
• Tour participants are responsible for keeping their personal belongings and valuables safe. B.Dene Adventures will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of any items belonging to tour participants.
• All tour participants are advised to wear all necessary protective gear and follow the rules and regulations of the tours/activities they participate in.

 

Participant Acceptance of Risk and Release of Liability

By participating in B.Dene Adventures Inc.’s tours/activities, participants waive certain legal rights, including the right to sue or claim compensation from B.Dene Adventures Inc. for any issues.

Tour participants fully acknowledge and accept all potential risks, dangers, and hazards listed in the “Risk Management” section, including personal injury, death, property loss, or damage that may result from such risks.

Tour participants agree to waive any and all claims against B.Dene Adventures Inc. now or in the future and release B.Dene Adventures Inc. from any and all liability for any and all losses, damages, expenses, or injuries (including death) that guests or their next of kin may suffer as a result of voluntarily participating in any B.Dene Adventures “Experience”.

This agreement is effective and binding in the event of death or incapacity and will not expire. This agreement and any rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Tour participant and B.Dene Adventures Inc. will be governed and interpreted solely by the laws of the Northwest Territories, excluding the laws of other jurisdictions.

 

Photography Usage & Copyright 

All photographs taken by B.Dene Adventures during the tour/activities are the exclusive property of B.Dene Adventures Inc. By participating in our tours/activities, tour participants consent to B.Dene Adventures taking photographs of them or with them; and they also give B.Dene Adventures the right to retain and possibly use those photographs for future marketing purposes.

If you wish to request the removal of any of your photographs from our marketing channels/resources, please contact us. While we will carefully consider all requests, B.Dene Adventures reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the use of such photographs.

 

Final Notes

• All tour/activity participants unconditionally accept the terms and conditions stated above both when they book/purchase a tour/activity with B.Dene Adventures Inc. and also upon arrival at the venue of the tour/activity.
• B.Dene Adventures Inc. reserves the right to change or revise the contents of these terms without further notice.
