Our Indigenous-led Aurora Viewing Tour offers more than just a sightseeing of the Aurora but a whole immersive experience into Dene culture, stories, and traditions, all under the majestic view of the magical northern lights.
This tour includes:
- Convenient pick-up and return transportation from any hotel in Yellowknife to our tourism camp in Dettah, accessible by a 10-minute trail-walk or a 2-minute boat/snowmobile ride.
- Aurora viewing, all night long, under the light-pollution free skies of the Northern wilderness.
- Cultural storytelling by the fire, including histories, stories, and legends of indigenous people, as well as northern lights lore.
- Thrilling cultural games and drumming performances that help you create an unforgettable connection to the land and spirit of the North.
- Delicious local refreshments including freshly prepared fish, drinks, and locally-made Bannock.
